was France’s total contribution to the IAEA budget in 2009. It can be broken down as follows :
- €17 million to the regular budget,
- €4 million in voluntary contributions,
- €2 million to other budgets (financial contributions and staff).

France made an estimated €1.5 million in 2008 in voluntary contributions (financial and in kind) to the IAEA under the French Support Programme for IAEA Safeguards.

France is going to contribute to the high-level training for EU Member States consistent with the new lines for action by the European Union in combating the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems.

is the amount France contributed to the fund for the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs in support of the 1540 Committee as part of EU participation in 2006 and 2008. (The EU adopted two joint actions amounting to €475,000 and €175,000 in 2008 and 2006 respectively, for a total of €670,000).
